The Gangsters of Love ended their 2006 reunion tour on good terms. The Penguin’s orphanage was saved. SammyG and Blasikin went back to their fry cook jobs at Aretha's southside diner; Tornadoz reluctantly returned to his position as maitre at chic restaurant "Chez Paul".

Just as the boys were settling back into the daily grind, a mysterious letter landed on the doorsteps of Gangster Tornadoz:

Dear Sirs,

Your polka-funk remix of song Mac Arthur Park is wonderous hit on Albania radio! We wish to have you tour our country! Gangsters of Love are famous here!…

Before the Gangsters knew it, they were back on tour, trekking across Eastern Europe. Crowds of children followed them everywhere with glee, shouting their online handles. The Gangsters had not experienced this kind of excitement since their 70s heyday in South El Monte.

Valentine's Day morning at a Montenegro train station, a young girl, head wrapped in a flowery scarf, ran after the band's train as it departed. She stretched out her arm, holding a flat package. Blasikin reached out the window and took the package, thanking the child. As the train sped on, Blasikin unwrapped the gift and pulled out a homemade cd case. The other Gangsters leaned in as he popped the enclosed cd into the band’s boom box and pressed play.
