Firstly, let me clear a couple of things up. I’m not proclaiming this mix as ‘Genius’, as the title may suggest. No. Quite simply, struggling for a title ( not for the first time ), I decided to lift two words from albums a couple of these tracks were taken from. Namely ‘Brakes – Beatific Visions’ and ‘Julian Cope – Floored Genius’.

Must also point out the ‘Goodies’ feature here aren’t the hugely successful comics of the 70’s, rather a not so successful Girl Group from the 60’s. Anyway, onto the mix. Not Genius but certainly very good! And most definitely ‘Beatific’, whatever the heck that means…
